Las Vegas, Nevada – Strange Mind Films is pleased to introduce a live action and partially animated feature film The Weathered Underground where user can choose what happens next. Written and directed by critically acclaimed writer David N. Donihue, The Weathered Underground is an interactive motion picture that involves users into a hilarious life of a twenty one year old guy as he is trying to find his way through the underground.

The film is based on a story of a young and unruly musician (Michael Ciriaco) contemplating the meaning of life amidst a serious break up and vicious ride through the after hours mayhem. Eric is 21, his heart is broken and his mind is on fire. His ex-girlfriend (Brea Grant – Daphne from NBC’s Heroes) is still the center piece of his gleefully dysfunctional world. On one dark and surreal evening, Eric stumbles into the lives of dangerous dealers and soft-hearted Mormons, psychotic pretty girls and genuine yet romantically-damaged souls. Circumstance chases him in the most hilarious of ways as his wild voice rifts on the world that surrounds him.

David N. Donihue is the multiple award winning and critically acclaimed screenwriter and producer of PARZANIA, starring Naseeruddin Shah (Monsoon Wedding) and Raj Zutshi (Slumdog Millionaire). The film garnered Donihue 2 nominations for India’s Oscars, the Film Fare Award for Best Screenplay and Best Story. He has also received acclaim for his documentary writing on The Tree Of Life. His performance in Buffalo Bill’s Defunct wowed audiences and critics and Donihue resumes his acting efforts in Weathered, playing both a vicious meth dealer and a psychotic transvestite in the hilarious pop comedy.
