Blokt

Blokt by Curious Media Inc. is a mind twisting puzzle game that’ll surely challenge your intelligence, puzzle solving skills, patience, and resiliency.  Blokt consists of 160 challenging levels, all of which require you to maneuver a cluster of surrounding blocks in order to free up a single red block and slide it through the exit on the right side of the screen.  The game is broken into 4 packs of 40 levels.  Each one progressively more challenging than the next.  There are three ways to measure success in the game.  The first is by simply completing a level.  The second and third are by the amount of time it takes you to complete a level and the number of moves it took you to complete it in.  The further you progress in the least amount of time and moves, the quicker you’ll climb up the leaderboard.

At first glance Blokt doesn’t look impressive at all.  You’ll likely skate through the first 4 or 5 levels like we did.  It won’t be long though before you’ll find yourself completely stumped.  Blokt is flat out hard!  While reviewing Blokt we only cleared 27 levels of the first pack.  There were times where it took us so long to clear a level that we began to question if there was even a solution to the puzzle.

Those of you who love puzzles, rubics cubes, and things of that nature, and are looking for a real brain cramper, Blokt is an app you should check out.  The games sounds and imagery are relatively bland and very basic, but for what the game lacks in asthetics it gains in complexity and challenge.  If you want to flex your puzzle solving brain mussles you need to download Blokt from the App Store today!
