With Hostel Hero you can easily search, find, and book lodging at hostels and budget hotels in over 150 countries around the world. There are over 19,000 locations to choose from, all of which come with an overview of the lodging, pricing, sleeping arrangements, facilities & amenities, a map of the location, and photos! When searching for a location, Hostel Hero automatically detects whether or not there is availability for a specific location so you never need to worry about taking the time to book a room that’s already taken. With Hostel Hero, finding and booking your stay couldn’t be easier! In just a few touches you can pick the country and location, enter in the date of your stay and the number of nights, select your arrival time, and just like that it’ll display a list of hostels. Each hostel listed will show the nightly rate for your stay, so there’s no guesswork when it comes to price. Touch any of the locations listed to view details about the hostel. From there, simply touch the “Book” button to begin reserving your stay. When booking you need only enter in your basic information, a credit card, and a 10% deposit for your stay. You receive a confirmation for each reservation you make that’s stored directly in the app so you never need to worry about misplacing it. You can do all of this in a matter of seconds allowing you to spend more of your day enjoying the scenery instead of worrying about where you’re going to sleep.
Another great feature of Hostel Hero is that it allows you to browse for hostels offline. Prior to heading out on your trip, you can select the “Browse Offline” option from the main menu and download hostel information for any country. Once downloaded you’re guaranteed to be able to search and view information for any hostel, whether you’ve got an Internet connection or not, making it truly ideal for every backpacker! Once back online, you can book your stay with ease.
