Whether it’s already happened or will the moment your kids lay eyes on him in the theater, they’re surely going to fall in love with the squishy one eyed lead character BOB. Monsters vs. Aliens for iPhone and iPod Touch brings BOB directly to your children’s fingertips. With this app your kids can poke, squish, listen to, play games, and interact with BOB. It comes with two of BOB’s favorite games, 52 pickup and Memory. We all remember how much we loved those games as kids, combine those great games with your children’s obsession with BOB and you’ve got a sure fire winner.

To set expectations, this app is not designed to be a game. If you buy this app thinking it’s a game you’re probably going to be disappointed. This app is designed solely to promote the movie, and it does an excellent job of that. The quality behind this app is second to none. The video and audio is top notch, the interface is slick, easy to follow, colorful, and extremely well put together. Everything about the app promotes the movie extremely well.

This app is without a doubt designed for children 10 and under. Anyone in that age group will absolutely love this app. You’re going to buy $5 popcorn, $4 pack of M&Ms, and a $3 soda, why not buy your kids something that costs less that they can take home with them? If you’re not 100% sold yet, then check out the LITE version. It’s free, has less functionality, but it’ll give a taste of what the full app will give you.
