Phoenix, Arizona – AppChakra LLC, the developer of BlinkMaster, has recently released the latest update for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. Unlike traditional iOS trivia games, which are based on the old familiar text based question and answer format, BlinkMaster 1.12 brings an exciting visual element to the trivia category. The app challenges users to connect “Blinked” images to a famous person, place or thing. For e.g., what is common across images of a black turtle neck sweater, an apple, the employment section of a newspaper, and tablets? They all point directly or indirectly to Steve Jobs. The app plays on the fact that people often connect the things they see in the blink of an eye with a specific memory of a person, place, or a thing.
BlinkMaster 1.12 Features Include:
* Multiple question categories, including World Leaders, Actors, Singers and more
* “Clue Map”shows users how each of the 9 visual clues are connected to the answer
* Playing tutorial. Users can play along and learn by following simple on-screen instructions
* Universal app. Works across all iOS devices (iPhone, iPod touch and iPad)
* Graphics adjusted for Retina display
* Fun to play and easy to use
BlinkMaster 1.12 is an addictive game that can be played alone or with up to four friends on one device, which makes it ideal for parties or family game night. Users start each question with 1500 points and must figure out the answer while losing as few points as possible. The object is to guess the answer by using the “Blinked” images, but there are also up to nine additional clues available. Using the clues will cost the user points, as will giving an incorrect answer to the question.
The design of this app makes it not only fun, but offers an opportunity to learn. As users uncover clues, they often find that they’re learning new facts about people, places and things they thought they already knew about. By making the game fun and engaging, users are likely to make new memory associations and retain the knowledge more readily.
The game works well because it relies on human nature. People associate images with memories every day. Even the things they see in the blink of an eye can become permanently associated with the memory of a person they may know, a place they’ve seen, a book they’ve read and so on. They often don’t even realize they’ve made the association until it pops to the front of their mind. BlinkMaster takes full advantage of that aspect of human nature in a clever way and puts it into a fun and educational game.
BlinkMaster 1.12 is a paid app, but users can download an ad-free, Lite version to give it a free test drive. BlinkMaster Lite is every bit as challenging as the full version, but contains a limited number of questions and categories.
* iPhone, iPod touch and iPad
