Oh Nuts

If you love brain teasers, IQ challenges, and puzzle games that test your cognitive abilities and can be played to completion in a matter of seconds, then you’ll surely love Oh Nuts!  Oh Nuts, created by Haas Animation Studios, is a simple concept that some how manages to keep you scratching your head time and time again!  If you’ve got a brain, know how to play checkers, and have a few moments to spare, then you’ve got everything you need to play Oh Nuts!

I guarantee when you first open this app you’ll think to yourself “Oh Nuts”, this game is way too simple.  And, for the most part you’d be exactly right!  The game is simple!  There’s one green screen with 14 nuts arranged in the shape of a triangle.  All you have to do is leapfrog one nut at a time, like you’re playing checkers, eliminating as many nuts as you can.  To be supreme brain master, you need to eliminate all nuts but one!  Now smarty pants, knowing all that, let’s see you do it!  I for one was only able to whittle it down to two nuts (HAHA, that’s what she said!).

Now, if you’re expecting a game with lots of bells and whistles, this most certainly is not that game.  It’s a very plain Jane, what you see is what you get, puzzle game.  But, that being said, it does exactly what it says it does and it does it well!  Oh Nuts, is certainly not the type of game you’ll obsess over and play from sunrise to sundown.  However, it’s definitely the type of game that if you like it, you’ll probably hang on to it, and play 5-10 minutes at a time whenever you’re bored or looking for a little extra challenge.  If you appreciate classic brain teasers, and aren’t turned off by apps that aren’t jam packed with features, music, sounds, and animation, then you’ll certainly enjoy Oh Nuts!
