Ever listen in on a conversation and wonder to yourself, “What the hell are these people talking about”? Do you sometimes find yourself lacking for the perfect word or phrase to describe how you’re feeling or a special circumstance you’re in? Maybe you just need a quick laugh? Well… you may be in luck with SchroederDev LLC’s newest iPhone reference app, Slango!

Sure there are many reference apps and programs out there nowadays, but how many of those will tell you the perfect word for an emergency poop(211)? Bet you didn’t know that “Jack of all trades” pertained to someone’s sexual preferences? Anways… it’s these kind of slang definitions that make Slango so darn entertaining.

Here’s some of the features you get with Slango:

Upon launch you recieve a Word of the Day. These are always interesting and a great way to start your experience with the app.
Random Word Search – Let Slango randomly present Slango terms for your enjoyment
Sharing via facebook, twitter and email
Bookmark your favorite terms

As entertaining and interesting as I found many of the Slango terms to be I will say that the app is in need of some improvements to truly engage it’s users. There isn’t any easy way to access all the available terms in the app for starters. The Word of day feature only allows you to cycle back a few days and the Random word feature can get old quickly. It looks like some advanced Browsing capabilities will be coming to Slango in a future update, so hopefully that will address that issue.
