Tri-Ominos
Yep, you guessed it, the popular old school three-sided domino game Tri-Ominos has made it’s way to the iPhone! No suprises here, Tri-Ominos, by creator Red Hot Apps, works just like the board game. Match your three sided game pieces to accrue points. The first player to 200 points wins! It’s you verses the iPhone in this game so you better have your wits about you. One thing’s for sure, this game isn’t for the impatient. Tri-Ominos puts your logical skills to the test.
Tri-Ominos stays true to the original board game. You can rotate the game pieces to line up numbers by tapping them. Simply drag and drop game pieces to match them with other pieces on the board. If none of your pieces match any on the board, you can snag a new piece from the pile with a simple touch of your finger. At first the game will seem extremely easy, but in just a matter of moments, as more and more pieces pair on the board, the level of difficulty increases exponentially. From here It’ll take dedication to win the game.
If you’re into three-sided dominos then you’re definitely going to enjoy Tri-Ominos. The app functioned well throughout our testing. We didn’t experience any noticeable glitches or bugs. We do think there are a couple things that would enhance the appeal of the app even more. Currently the app doesn’t offer any music during gameplay and is only single player. Adding in some game music and the ability to play others over the Net or over WiFi would definitely increase the fun value of the app.
